At ca. 1.5 hours' drive there are three stunning golf courses: The Turin Golf Club (www.circologolftorino.it) is one of Italy's top courses located within the La Mandria Natural Park, at the foot of the Alps with two 18-hole courses - one a par 72, the other a par 71. Also located in the stunning setting of the La Mandria Natural Park, Royal Park I Roveri (www.royalparkgolf.it) is one of the most prestigious clubs in Italy with two 18-hole courses, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Michael Hurdzan. The Castelconturbia club (www.castelconturbia.it) occupies what was formerly the only golf course in Piedmont. The club was refounded in 1984 to comprise 27 holes, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., with the Monte Rosa massif on the horizon.
